TRS appeals to graduate voters

KARIMNAGAR: TRS legislature party leader Etala Rajender appealed to the graduate voters to cast their vote in favour of the TRS candidate from Karimnagar graduates constituency Naradasu Laxman Rao for the council by-elections and to strengthen the Telangana statehood movement.

Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that they had held talks with the Teachers’ union leaders and received spontaneous support for the TRS candidate in the council elections. He also appealed to the council voters to freshly enrol their names according to the new guidelines of the Election Commission before September 12. He also said that the party would represent the EC to extend the last date for the enrolment of voters for the council elections. He said that they would also urge the Election Commission to continue the old voters list for the council by-elections.

Mr. Laxman Rao said that they would launch the voters’ enrolment programme on a massive scale in Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Medak districts, which falls under the Karimnagar graduates constituency.
