Etala re-elected TRS district president

KARIMNAGAR: TRS floor leader in the Assembly Etala Rajender has been re-elected as the Telangana Rashtra Samthi district president for the second consecutive period on Thursday.

At the party district review meeting in Hyderabad, TRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao proposed the name of Etala Rajender as the district president and was unanimously supported by the legislators V. Lakmikantha Rao, Koppula Eshwar and other party leaders.

Services lauded

Mr. Rao had lauded the services of Mr. Rajender for the success of the party candidates in the recent by-elections for the three Assembly segments and the Karimnagar Parliament segment in Karimnagar district.

Local issues

He also called upon the party rank and file to identify local issues and failures of the State government in each Assembly segment.

Bus yatra

He also informed the party leaders to identify the route for his proposed bus yatra in Karimnagar district.

KCR visit

Party sources said that Mr. Chandrashekhar Rao would visit Karimnagar town on September 7 to participate in the ‘urs’ festival Karimullah Shah dargah in Karimnagar town.

He would also interact with the local leaders on September 8 at the Telangana Bhavan in Karimnagar town before leaving to Hyderabad.

Party MLC candidate from Karimnagar graduate constituency Naradasu Laxman Rao had thanked that the party leadership and district legislators for re-electing Mr. Rajender as the district president.
